Only an idiot can do everything.


	Are you the type of person who can do anything? The septic tank is blocked. You can fix that. A door needs replacing. You can do that. The house needs repainting. You can do that. A full house renovation. You can do that. So can I. What a bloody idiot! I have noticed the people who always say I have no skills around the house make sure they haven’t and live in bliss because of it. People always say “you’re so lucky you have the skills to do the work”. Yep. I was born with building skills. Had nothing to do with the short courses I took at Tafe in bricklaying or the books I read, or magazines I studied or the years of trial and error. I wanted the skills and I pursued them. OK I have very good skills with many people thinking I am a builder but anyone can learn the basics. Basically if you can’t be bothered learning the skills it’s because you are lazy. Never want to get off your arse and try. Bunnings run workshops every weekend yet these people never go. Much better to claim ignorance and do nothing or pay someone else to do the work. So from now on don’t say “I just don’t have the abilities” instead be honest ans say “I’m a lazy shit and that’s the way I want to remain”.
